CJA committees offer the opportunity to meet and work with outstanding judges and bench officers throughout the state. The committees also include the opportunity to take a leadership role in our profession and in our organization.

Most CJA committees are open to any active or retired judge, commissioner or referee, although some are selected by Association committees themselves. Committee workloads and schedules vary widely, depending on the events of each year. Some meet during the Annual Meeting and at other times as necessary, others have regular face-to-face meetings. Many also work by telephone conference calls, and e-mail. A few are specialized and require a multi-year commitment.
