CJA Sections and Affiliates provide California’s judicial officers multiple pathways to access resources, build networks, obtain education and promote judicial diversity. CJA is pleased to have the following organizations partner with the association as affiliates:

• Association of African American California Judicial Officers (AAACJO)
• California Asian Pacific American Judges Association (CAPAJA)
• California Court Commissioners Association (CCCA)
• California Jewish Judicial Officers Association (CJJOA)
• California Latino Judges Association (CLJA)
• Middle Eastern & North African Judicial Officers of California (MENAJOC)

CJA also has two sections as established in the CJA Bylaws. The sections actively track and take positions on legislation:

• Juvenile Court Judges of California (JCJC)
• LGBT Judicial Officers of California (LGBT JOC)

Each affiliate has its own membership structure and dues requirements. CJA collects dues on behalf of CAPAJA and CCCA HERE. All juvenile court judges who are members of CJA are considered members of the JCJC. The JCJC has an active legislative committee and more information can be found HERE.
