Administrative Hearing OfficerThe City of Murrieta (“City”) is seeking to retain the services of one or more qualified individuals (“Proposer(s)”) who can serve as contract administrative hearing officers and provide written decisions in appeals of administrative citations and other cases authorized under the City’s short-term vacation rental ordinance.
- A Juris Doctor degree and a license to practice law in the State of California.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a judge (now retired), arbitrator, hearing officer, or licensed attorney representing clients before administrative decision makers such as hearing officers, city councils, county boards of supervisors, and/or city commissions in the State of California, preferably with short-term vacation rental law related experience, though not required.
- Be in possession of a City of Murrieta business tax certificate or be able to obtain one.
