CJA 80th Anniversary Celebrated at Annual Meeting & Conference in San Diego

2009 CJA Award recipients were honored and presented with their awards at the Membership Luncheon on Friday, September 11, 2009. Judge Mary E. Wiss (San Francisco Superior Court) presided over the last meeting of her presidency before turning the leadership reins over to Judge Michael P. Vicencia (Los Angeles Superior Court).

Alba Witkin Humanitarian Award: Justice Kenneth R. Yegan, (2nd District)

Bernard Jefferson Excellence in Judicial Education Award: Teresa Sanchez-Gordon (Los Angeles Superior Court) and Judge Luis R. Vargas, (San Diego Superior Court)

CJA President’s Award: CJA Lobbyist Mike Belote
